The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is one of the most anticipated smartphones from the company this year, and some new camera info just leaked, along with a new color option.

According to info provided by GalaxyClub, the Galaxy S21 FE will be available in a Light Green color option as well. This is not the first color variant that got mentioned, though. In an earlier report, Pink, White, Violet, and Gray/Silver color were mentioned.

The Galaxy S21 FE is tipped to resemble the Galaxy S21, but we don’t know much about its design at this point. You can expect to get a similar camera housing on the back, and quite possibly a centered display camera hole as well. Its display will almost certainly be flat.

The Galaxy S21 FE will allegedly feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera

Now, the source also shared some information regarding the phone’s selfie camera. The device is tipped to include a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, the same one that the Galaxy A72 uses.

A report that surfaced last month said that the company is working on two Galaxy S21 FE variants. One of them will, allegedly, include 128GB of storage, while the other one will ship with 256GB of storage.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (pictured above) got announced back in September last year, and it managed to become quite popular since then. The Galaxy S20 FE is essentially the company’s budget flagship, an alternative to the Galaxy S20 series that arrived last year.

Well, this year, the Galaxy S21 series landed, and the Galaxy S21 FE is expected to follow in Q3 or Q4. It may even arrive a bit earlier than you expect it to, as the Galaxy S21 series arrived early. That’s, at least, what a recent rumor suggested.

The device may become official in August

Evan Blass, a well-known tipster, suggested that the next Unpacked event will take place on August 19. The Galaxy S21 FE may arrive during that event. On the flip side, it’s possible that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and / or Z Flip 2 will arrive during that event, without the Galaxy S21 FE. We’ll have to wait and see.
