Yet another source has reported that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 will launch early, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 2. Based on the information from ‘The Elec’, the two devices will become official in July.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is allegedly coming early, as several reports suggested thus far

That is the same information that several other sources shared recently, which leads us to believe it is accurate. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 was announced in early August, so its successor will arrive early.

The regular Galaxy Z Flip launched in February, while the 5G variant arrived at the very end of July. Those are, reportedly, the only two foldable smartphones that the company is planning to announce in 2021.

Based on some recent information, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will feature at least 256GB of storage. It will ship with Android 11, and One UI 3.5 skin on top of it. The device will include a 4,380mAh battery on the inside.

The Galaxy Z Flip 2, on the other hand, is tipped to feature a 3,200mAh battery. Both devices will include slightly smaller battery packs compared to their predecessors, by the way.

The Z Fold 3 is expected to include the S Pen stylus

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is rumored to ship with the S Pen stylus from Samsung. That device is supposed to replace the Galaxy Note series, at least in 2021, so it makes all the sense in the world. You’ll be able to dock that stylus inside the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Both of those devices will be quite powerful. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will almost certainly ship with the Snapdragon 888 SoC. The phone will be made out of metal and glass, and likely resemble its predecessor quite a bit.

The same can be said for the Galaxy Z Flip 2. It will probably look similar to the Galaxy Z Flip, but with a larger cover display. We’re still not sure what SoC will Samsung use in this case, it could go for the Snapdragon 865 or 870.
