Crash Bandicoot Mobile

King Interactive, makers of Candy Crush and now owned by Activision, have officially confirmed that Crash Bandicoot On The Run will be making its global debut on mobile devices this month.

The game has been in soft launch in a few regions around the world prior to now. Giving some lucky players the chance to check it out before the worldwide release. Crash Bandicoot On The Run will be the first official game in the franchise that has hit mobile devices.

It's and endless runner, so expect familiar gameplay if you've ever picked up Temple Run 2. Or any of the other hundreds (probably thousands) of options in the endless runner genre that exist on Android and iOS these days.

Crash Bandicoot On The Run lands on mobile devices March 25

While the game won't launch for another few weeks, you can already pre-register for it on Android if you want. This would help you get alerts about the game's release the moment it goes live on the Play Store.

And usually pre-registration ends up rewarding you with in-game items or currency. Or something that can be used in-game. So if it seems like fun to you then pre-registration is always a good idea because you're likely to get extra goodies.

To celebrate the official announcement about the game's launch, King has also released a new trailer for the game on YouTube. Which you can view in full below.

Free-to-play fun with an iconic fan-favorite character

It's not exactly Crash Bandicoot 4. And no one expects people to view it that way. But Crash Bandicoot On The Run is still a pretty fun game if you want something to pass the time.

Since it's an endless runner, it works out great for casual gaming on the go even in bit-sized chunks. Or if you really feel like it you could dump a couple of hours into it. In the game you'll have the ability to play as Crash from the start, but you will eventually unlock other characters from the series as well.

You get to battle bosses too. And there's even a multiplayer mode for playing with friends if they get into it. Since the game is free-to-play, there will be micro transactions as that's the game's monetization model. But that doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing. So long as they aren't heavy handed and you're not forced to spend real money to get past a certain point.
