Discovery+ has announced a new "high-volume, multi-territory" SVOD deal with All3Media International, a leading independent distributor of television programming. The deal sees the streaming platform pick up more than 250 hours of non-scripted content from the British distributor. Titles like Race Across the World, Naked Attraction, and The Undateables, as well as the distributor's Gordon Ramsay portfolio, are all coming over to the platform, with licensing to multiple territories.
Both seasons of the BAFTA-winning series Race Across the World (15 episodes in total) are now streaming on discovery+. The adventure series from Studio Lambert is available for viewers in North America, India, Italy, and Spain.
Discovery+ has also secured SVOD rights of all four seasons of Naked Attraction (40 episodes), also from Studio Lambert. The bold dating series is currently streaming on the platform in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, and many other countries. It will be available in North America later this year, with more regions to follow. Local versions of the series have also premiered in Italy and Finland. One such is coming to Norway as well.
Later this year, 11 series (45 episodes) of Betty's award-winning The Undateables is also coming to discovery+ in North America.
This "high-volume" deal between discovery+ and All3Media International also includes North American SVOD rights to 100+ hours of content from the latter's Gordon Ramsay portfolio. Titles now streaming on discovery+ include six seasons of Kitchen Nightmares, two seasons of Gordon Ramsay's Great Escape, and two cooking competitions – Culinary Genius (UK) and five seasons of The F Word (UK).
Additionally, three documentaries – Gordon Ramsay Behind Bars, Gordon Ramsay: Shark Bait, and Gordon Ramsay On Cocaine – are also coming to discovery+. The former two are already streaming on the platform while the latter will be available later this year.
On top of that, discovery+ has also secured North American SVOD rights to many other titles from All3Media International. Titles now streaming on the platform include The Elephant Hospital, Ski A&E, Extreme Everest, and The Parachute Murder Plot. Additionally, Generation Porn is set to launch on discovery+ later this year.
Discovery+ was first launched in India in March last year. The streaming platform made its debut in the US on January 4th, 2021. The company has been gradually expanding its content portfolio as well as global presence since then. As of 2021, discovery+ is available in more than 25 key markets globally. It also plans to launch in Latin American markets, including Brazil, and parts of Asia soon.
