The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has surfaced online, giving us a first look at its design, and under-display camera. Four images of the device appeared online, sharing quite a few details.

First and foremost, let’s just say that one of those images clearly mentions an under-display camera. If that ends up being true, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be the first foldable smartphone with an under-display camera.

A tipster mentioned that such a camera will be used in the main display only. So, the cover display will likely still have a display camera hole in it. That’s only a guess, though, as we don’t see it in these images.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 leak shows us its design, S Pen & confirms under-display camera

What we do see is the phone’s back side, and its main display. On top of that, the S Pen stylus is also shown in these images. No, you won’t be able to dock that stylus inside the phone, but Samsung will provide a case for such purpose.

You will notice that there are three cameras included on the back of the device. Those three cameras are vertically aligned, and they are a part of the same camera island. An LED flash is placed below them. The whole camera island does protrude on the back.

The hinge itself looks similar to the one on the Galaxy Z Fold 2. It’s quite likely that Samsung won’t change much in that regard, as the hinge inside the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is excellent.

Black, White, and Dark Green variants of the phone are shown amongst the leaked images. It is possible that these will be the only available color options, but we’ll see.

A “hybrid” S Pen will be included

Now, in regards to the S Pen that is shown here. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will ship with a “hybrid” S Pen stylus. It won’t have a fine tip, so that the display on the phone doesn’t get damaged while you’re using it.

Speaking of the display, it will be an improvement over the Galaxy Z Fold 2’s display, as Samsung has reinforced it. Displays on foldables are getting better and better with each new iteration, so that’s not surprising.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to launch in July, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 3. It will be an interesting month for Samsung, if the rumors are accurate.
