Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Book laptops – the Galaxy Book Pro and the Galaxy Book Pro 360 – have appeared in live images thanks to the Safety Korea certification. The listing doesn’t reveal much about the devices but gives us another look at the designs of the two laptops ahead of their impending launch. Renders of these two devices had appeared last month, giving us our first look at Samsung’s upcoming premium laptops. The newly surfaced live images are in line with those renders.
Samsung is said to be developing as many as six new Galaxy Book laptops for launch in the coming months. The Galaxy Book Pro and Book Pro 360 are the high-end models of the lot. The two laptops run Windows OS and will reportedly feature 11th Gen. Intel Core series processors, Nvidia MX450 GPUs, Thunderbolt 4, and LTE connectivity. Both the devices sport Full HD AMOLED displays and might be available in 13-inch and 15-inch screen sizes.
The key differentiating feature between the two models is S Pen support. Reports suggest only the Galaxy Book Pro 360 will come compatible with this added productivity tool. Of course, it is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop with a 360-degree hinge, unlike the other model.
The regular Galaxy Book Pro is more of a traditional laptop with a full-sized keyboard and a large trackpad. Reports suggest the device will be available in black and white color options. The Galaxy Book Pro 360, on the other hand, might come in Mystic Bronze and Navy Blue colorways.
Samsung might also launch a more affordable Galaxy Book Go alongside the Galaxy Book Pro and Book Pro 360. The Book Go also recently received the FCC certification. It is said to be powered by a next-generation Snapdragon 7c or Snapdragon 8cx processor, paired with 4GB/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage. The laptop will run Windows 10 and will sport a 14-inch display with Full HD resolution. It will come with dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and LTE connectivity.
It’s unclear when Samsung plans to introduce its upcoming Galaxy Book laptops. Now that the devices are picking up necessary approvals thick and fast, an official introduction might be just around the corner. A leaked mini roadmap last month suggested that the Korean firm may announce new PCs on April 14th, which is tomorrow. It now remains to be seen whether we’ll indeed see these Galaxy Book laptops break cover within the next 24 hours or so.
