In a new update, Google is rolling out a feature that makes it easier for Chrome users to switch between user profiles. This would benefit a huge number of Google Chrome users worldwide.

Google Chrome profiles are nothing new. You can use different profiles and their extensions, apps, history, themes, and bookmarks for different users on shared computers.

In fact, you can also sync all these data across devices as well. However, with the new Google Chrome revamped user profiles update, you can choose your profile from the profile picker.

If you are a Google Chrome user, you might have a tough time remembering to switch profiles. This is the case when multiple users are using the same device.

Thankfully, with the new Google Chrome update, Google has addressed this issue. This makes user profiles more distinguishable, giving more customization options to the users to their user profiles.

As far as the customization options are concerned, Google Chrome users can now set custom backgrounds, color schemes, and profile images. This will help you understand which profile belongs to whom.

Currently, the new Google Chrome user profiles are only available on PC

Whenever you restart the Chrome browser, a profile picker will pop-up, prompting you to select which profile you wish to use or whether you want to use it as a guest.

Google Chrome will also prompt the user to create a new profile when you might benefit. Moreover, you can also choose the color of your new profile with a single click.

A bunch of new themes has been included (check out the new theme series by Black artists for inspiration). Besides, you can add all of your articles that you wish to read later to your reading list in Chrome on Android and desktop. This feature was previously limited to the iOS app.

However, note that the new Google Chrome profile feature is available only for PC users. There is no word when Google plans to bring this new feature for Android and iOS devices.
