Fastlane is going to be the first PPV that will be available on a streaming service not called "WWE Network". On March 18, the WWE launched on Peacock, and that will be the exclusive home for WWE PPVs and other WWE original content going forward. Which is a pretty big deal, actually.

Peacock will cost you $5 per month for the "Peacock Premium" plan. That's half the price of the WWE Network, and much, much cheaper than paying for each pay-per-view event, which are over $60 each. And you also get a ton of other content on Peacock too.

Fastlane is the final PPV stop on the road to Wrestlemania. Which happens to be the "Super Bowl of the WWE", it's the biggest show of the year. And once again this year, it's taking place over two nights. On April 10 and April 11, exclusively on Peacock. With this PPV we'll get a bigger picture of what to expect in terms of matches at Wrestlemania. For example, we could have a new champion after Fastlane, which would change the main event of Wrestlemania. Fastlane isn't typically a big deal, when it comes to PPVs, but it could be this year.

WWE Fastlane is taking place at the WWE Thunderdome in Tampa Bay. It's at the Tampa Bay Rays ballpark, Tropicana Field. And you can still register for your chance to appear at Fastlane virtually.

How to watch WWE Fastlane 2021 on Peacock

First up, make sure to login to your Peacock account. Or sign up if you haven't already.

Then click on the "WWE" tab at the top of the page. It'll be to the right of "Sports".

From there you should see a big picture of Fastlane, with Drew McIntyre on the poster. Just click on that and you'll be able to watch it. Or you can click here for a direct link.

Now, keep in mind, that Fastlane doesn't start until 7PM EDT on Sunday, March, 21. So if you go to that page before that time, you will see a brief synopsis about the event, and a button to add it to your watchlist. Once it starts on Sunday, you'll be able to watch it no problem.

What time does WWE Fastlane 2021 start?

Fastlane, like most of its pay-per-views, starts at 7PM EDT. That's 4PM PDT for those on the west coast. Now if you are not in the US, you can still watch on the WWE Network, and alternatively if you're in Europe, it starts an hour earlier this time. As the US has already moved clocks, and Europe has not (that happens next weekend).

Typically WWE pay-per-views last around three to four hours. Though in recent years, they have been shortening them. Obviously they started listening to their viewers. So expect this to end around 10PM EDT, as that is what Peacock lists right now.

You'll notice that on Peacock it does say it starts at 6PM EDT. That's with the Fastlane pre-show. WWE does an hour-long pre-show for every PPV to get you ready. The bigger PPVs like Wrestlemania and Summerslam, see longer pre-shows. There is some action on the pre-show, but generally just one match towards the end of that hour.

Who's on the card?

The card for WWE Fastlane 2021 is actually pretty short, but that doesn't mean it's not an important pay-per-view. This is the final PPV on the road to Wrestlemania, which is the biggest event of the year. One of the bigger matches to watch will be Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan. If Bryan can win, we could see the dream match of Bryan vs Edge at Wrestlemania, as Edge won the Royal Rumble in January and chose to battle for the Universal Championship at Wrestlemania.

  • Universal Championship match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Daniel Bryan.
  • Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus.
  • Randy Orton vs. Alexa Bliss.
  • Women's Tag Team Championship match: Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair.
  • Intercontinental Championship: Big E (c) vs. Apollo Crews.

As always, the card is subject to change due to injuries, time slots, etc. And where this is being written before the final Smackdown before the event, there could be changes to the card, including an additional match or two being added. We'll be sure to update this post accordingly so you have the most up-to-date information.
