The Galaxy Note 10 Lite is the latest Samsung smartphone to receive the One UI 3.1 update. The affordable Galaxy flagship is currently picking up the newest version of Samsung's custom Android skin in France. The update is rolling out with software version N770FXXU7EUB3. It also bundles the March 2021 Android security patch.
One UI 3.1, which is based on Android 11, debuted on the Galaxy S21 series in January this year. Around that time, Samsung was busy pushing the One UI 3.0, which is the major Android 11 update, to its other devices. Now that company is done seeding the latest Android version to all of its eligible flagship models, it has shifted the focus to the One UI 3.1 update.
Samsung, in fact, has already pushed One UI 3.1 to most of its recent flagships. The Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S10, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Tab S7, and the Galaxy Tab S6 have all picked up the newest update. That's a really commendable effort from Samsung. To be fair, the company has been doing excellently well in pushing the latest updates to its devices in recent years.
As far as the One UI 3.1 for the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is concerned, it's not entirely clear if the device is getting all the goodies that are part and parcel of the package. Enhanced Single Take, Object Eraser, Multi-Mic Recording, Private Share, Eye Comfort Shield, automatic switching of Galaxy Buds between compatible devices, and the ability to remove GPS location data from photos are some of the highlights of the latest One UI version.
Since there's no changelog available as wet, we aren't sure if all these features have made it into the Galaxy Note 10. The device should get the most of them though.
Nonetheless, if you're using a Galaxy Note 10 Lite in France, watch out for a new update in the coming days. You should receive a notification prompting you to download the update over the air (AIR). You can also manually check for updates by going to the Software update section in your phone's Settings app and then hitting the Download and install option. We recommend you connect your phone to a stable Wi-Fi network before downloading the OTA file.
Users in other regions should also receive One UI 3.1 on their Galaxy Note 10 Lite in the coming weeks. Since updates are released in batches, they may not be available for all eligible units straightaway. You may have to wait a few days for the update to reach your phone.
