The OnePlus 9 Pro has just appeared in the company’s official promo video ahead of launch, again. This is not the first time the company is showing the device in one of its promo videos, but it is the first time it is showing a non-render image.

The phone appeared in the “OnePlus x Hasselblad Ambassadors – Cooper and Gorfer Colors” video that got published on YouTube. It rears its head at the very beginning of the video, as you’ll see. The video itself is embedded below the article. You can check out the screenshot below this paragraph.

The OnePlus 9 Pro rears its head in a new official promo video

OnePlus is once again showing the back of the phone, as it did in a teaser video the other day. You can clearly see the design of its back, along with its rear camera setup.

The OnePlus 9 Pro is expected to include four cameras on the back, and OnePlus already confirmed the details for two of them. The main one will be a 48-megapixel unit with Sony’s IMX789 sensor, which is a custom sensor. OnePlus will also utilize a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX766) ultra-wide camera.

In addition to those two, an 8-megapixel telephoto camera (3.3x zoom) and a 2-megapixel depth camera are tipped. Do note that those two cameras haven’t been confirmed by the company just yet.

OnePlus entered a partnership with Hasselblad

As you can see, the OnePlus 9 Pro will feature a curved back, similar to its predecessors. This phone also carries the Hasselblad branding on the back. That is something we already knew, as OnePlus agreed on a 3-year partnership with Hasselblad.

Hasselblad will help OnePlus with the cameras on its flagship smartphones. This time around, it seems like the company will only handle image colors, but it remains to be seen. It sure is an interesting and exciting prospect, though.

The OnePlus 9 series will become official on March 23. The company already confirmed the launch event for that date. The OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9R are expected to land. The OnePlus Watch may also arrive on that day.
