OnePlus is expected to take the wraps off the extensively leaked OnePlus 9 series phones later this month. And while we still wait for the official confirmation on the launch date, a fresh leak has now revealed some more bit of information about the upcoming devices. Precisely, the leak has revealed the possible color options for some of the upcoming OnePlus flagships.

A new leak reveals possible color options for the OnePlus 9 series

The folks over at OxygenUpdater have been able to dig out the possible color variants for some of the OnePlus 9 series phones. According to them, the regular OnePlus 9 may be offered in at least three color variants: Astral Black, Arctic Sky, and Winter Mist. The T-Mobile version of the phone, meanwhile, may only be available in two colors. Subscribers of the self-proclaimed Un-carrier may miss out on the Arctic Sky color variant.

Interestingly though, the Verizon version of the OnePlus 9 is said to come in Gloss Black and Gloss Gradient Purple colors. These color variants seem to be exclusive to Verizon.

Moving on, the unlocked OnePlus 9 Pro could come in Stellar Black, Forest Green, and Morning Mist colors. However, T-Mobile may only sell the phone in Morning Mist color. There's no mention of a Verizon version for this model.

The report, unfortunately, doesn't reveal the color options for the OnePlus 9R. If you've missed out, that's the name of the cheapest OnePlus 9 series phone. The device was previously rumored to arrive either as OnePlus 9E or 9 Lite. However, the company seems to have settled for the 9R moniker.

Below are the possible color variants of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, along with their codenames as shared by OxygenUpdater. The code strings that revealed this information were found in an Engineering Mode APK which they got hold of from a "trustable source."

OnePlus may reveal the launch date on March 8th

The OnePlus 9 series has leaked heavily over the past few months. Multiple leaks and certification listings have left little to the imagination as far as the phones' design and specs are concerned. Some reports have also suggested that the phones may be announced in late March, possibly on the 23rd. Now it appears the company may reveal the launch date on 8th March.

OnePlus has just published a microsite on its official website saying "Something new is on the horizon. Stay tuned, March 8". The webpage features a picture of the Earth supposedly taken from the surface of the Moon. What OnePlus is trying to imply from this, only time will tell.

Along with the OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9R, the company is also likely to launch its first smartwatch, the OnePlus Watch, later this month. We will keep you updated as and when more information emerges.
