A new update is rolling out to the OnePlus Nord, OxygenOS 11.1.1.2, and it brings quite a few fixes with it. This is a stable update, and it’s based on Android 11, in case you were wondering.
There are eight entries in the changelog this time around, and the most notable one has to do with power consumption. The company did its best to further optimize the power consumption, so that your battery may last even longer.
The issue with the Privacy Policy page has been fixed as well, as it did not display properly in Dark Mode. The issue of delayed display of incoming calls when charging has been also fixed, though that was only an issue in Indian models.
The system stability has been improved in general, as a number of smaller issues have been taken care of. This update also brings a new security patch to the device, an Android security patch for March 2021.
If you’ve been having issues with the Calculator app on the OnePlus Nord, well, you shouldn’t any longer. The results tended to be displayed abnormally on some units, and that has been fixed now. The abnormal display of the Calculator button size has also been fixed.
Global OnePlus Nord units also got a boost in the network department. The company improved network connection stability with this update. That is basically it as far as changes in this update are concerned.
As most of you probably already know, Android 11 started rolling out to the OnePlus Nord quite recently. The very first build caused some issues, and OnePlus had to stop rolling it out until those issues got fixed. The company did fix them really fast, and resumed the rollout.
OxygenOS 11.1.1.2 is the first stable update after the initial Android 11 build landed on the OnePlus Nord. The initial build brought quite a few bugs to the phone, which caused battery drain and slow charge speed.
This new update is already rolling out to the OnePlus Nord units, though it may not arrive to your phone straight away. OnePlus is relying on a staged rollout, as per usual, so some of you may have to wait a couple of days.
