OnePlus is planning to launch four devices in March, and 91mobiles have provided a list of those devices. Ishan Agarwal partnered up with 91mobiles for the information, and some of you can probably guess all of these devices.
We are, of course, talking about the OnePlus 9 series, first and foremost, but that’s not all. OnePlus will announce three devices as part of this series, the OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9R. Based on the information provided by Ishan Agarwal, the cheapest smartphone in the series will be called 9R after all.
The OnePlus 9R is a name that Evan Blass first mentioned quite recently. He tipped it and essentially said that the 9E name won’t be used. Max Jambor is still not sure whether that will be the case or not.
In any case, in addition to those three devices, OnePlus will also announce its first smartwatch. The OnePlus Watch has been rumored for a long, long time. OnePlus’ exec did confirm that the company is working on that watch last year.
The OnePlus Watch was first expected to arrive in 2020, but that didn’t happen. Well, it’s coming this month, though. We still don’t know a lot about it, but it’ll allegedly feature a circular design. In addition to that, it’ll likely ship with Wear OS.
The OnePlus 9 Pro will be the most powerful smartphone OnePlus will announce in March, needless to say. The device is tipped to feature a curved display, a single display camera hole, and the Snapdragon 888 SoC.
In addition to that, you can expect a QHD+ 120Hz display, which will offer an adaptive refresh rate. The phone will support both fast wired and wireless charging, and it will also be resistant to water and dust.
The OnePlus 9 is also expected to offer fast wired and wireless charging this time around, but slower than the ‘Pro’ unit. A fullHD+ display is expected on this phone, a 120Hz one, but not with an adaptive refresh rate. The Snapdragon 888 will fuel this phone as well.
The OnePlus 9R, on the flip side, is tipped to ship with a mid-range SoC, the Snapdragon 690. The phone is said to include a 5,000mAh battery, and a 6.5-inch fullHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Read more about those three phones in our OnePlus 9 series preview.
