Pete Lau, OnePlus’ CEO, has shared some unedited images taken with the OnePlus 9 Pro. On top of that, he shared some additional camera-related information as well.
In his tweet, he tagged the OnePlus 9 series, including the regular OnePlus 9, though chances are these images have been taken with the ‘Pro’ model. You can check out the images below, in Mr. Lau’s tweet.
Remember that portrait photo I shared from Hasselblad Ambassador Yin Chao? Some of you must have thought it had to have been edited. It wasn't. That was just exactly what the #OnePlus9Series camera captured, thanks to our Natural Color Calibration with Hasselblad. pic.twitter.com/BEW7soitkW

These images have been shared a couple of days before that as well, but everyone assumed they were edited. Well, Pete Lau now reshared them, claiming they have not been edited. If that’s true, then we do have reasons to be excited about the company’s upcoming phones.
Pete Lau says that the “Natural Color Calibration with Hasselblad” has everything to do with these pictures. OnePlus worked closely with Hasselblad to bring its iconic color calibration to the OnePlus 9 series.
These images are quite vivid, and the colors are spot-on in them. They’re quite pronounced, but also look realistic at the same time. Colors usually get boosted by a simple saturation boost, though there’s much more to it here, it seems.
The images are also quite sharp at the same time. The OnePlus 8 Pro managed to capture some truly nice shots, but the OnePlus 9 series is looking to take that to a whole new level, especially the ‘Pro’ model, we’d assume.
In a separate tweet, Pete Lau also mentioned the “Tilt-Shift” feature that is coming. He also shared an example of it. Tilt-Shift “makes real-world scenes look like miniatures”, said Pete Lau. He added that the mode is truly interesting, and you can see an example of it below.
When @MKBHD posted about the #OnePlus9Series this week, some of you also noticed a "Tilt-Shift" feature, which makes real-world scenes look like miniatures. Yes, it's new. And yes, it is really, really fun. pic.twitter.com/i0yOdlZ6PJ

In yet another tweet, the company’s CEO talked about video HDR. OnePlus introduced 3-HDR for video last year, with the OnePlus 8 series. This year, the company is pushing things to a new level with DOL-HDR.
DOL-HDR is an enhanced form of HDR that does a great job with backlighting and reducing noise for “richer, more natural details”. You can see a short clip shared by Mr. Lau below.
Last year we introduced 3-HDR for video. But I always want us to do better, and so we did: our team brought DOL-HDR to the #OnePlus9Series, an enhanced form of HDR that's even more powerful with backlighting and reducing noise for richer, more natural details. pic.twitter.com/pPxD1kI7PC

For those of you who are wondering, the OnePlus 9 series is coming on March 23. It looks like the OnePlus Watch will also be announced on that day, stay tuned.
