Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite render leak

The unannounced Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is back in the headlines for the third time this week. This time around, it has popped up on the Google Play Console and Google supported devices list, revealing several key specifications that were unknown until now.

Both LTE and Wi-Fi variants of the new tablet have appeared in the latest listing, along with a render of the device. As per the Play Console listing, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite will run on the MediaTek MT8768N chipset. This is none other than the previously rumored Helio P22T that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores operating at 2.3GHz and four other Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The CPU is paired with the Imagination Tech PowerVR GE8320 GPU (680MHz) and 3GB of RAM.

The Play Console listing also confirms that the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite features a screen with a resolution of 800 x 1340 pixels. It doesn’t specifically reveal the display size but earlier reports suggest it will be an 8.68-inch LCD panel. As expected, the tablet runs Android 11 out of the box.

Other rumored Galaxy Tab A7 Lite specs include up to 64GB of onboard storage, a 5,100mAh battery with 15W fast charging, a USB Type-C port, and a single 8-megapixel rear camera without an LED flash, sadly.

Talking about the render of the device on the Google Play Console listing, it’s the same one that appeared in a leak last month. It confirms a single front-facing camera and noticeable display bezels all around, particularly at the top and bottom. The tablet has its power button and volume rockers on the right side.

Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is getting closer to launch

As said earlier, this is the third time the Galaxy tab A7 Lite has broken the silence this week. It first made an appearance in a TENAA certification in China early in the week. The listing revealed live images of the tablet from all sides, along with a few other key details that corroborate the recent leak.

Following that leak, the upcoming affordable Galaxy tablet saw support pages for it go live on Samsung’s official websites in several countries. All these developments follow a plethora of leaks, rumors, and certification listings over the past couple of months. So it should be safe to assume that the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is nearing its market debut. Reports suggest Samsung will unveil the new device sometime in June this year. So stay tuned.
