Along with its announcement of Roku OS 10 today, the company also announced two new hardware products. The Roku Express 4K Plus Streaming device, and the Roku Voice Remote Pro. Both of which are big upgrades over the previous models.

Let’s start with the Roku Express 4K Plus.

As you can tell from the name, the Roku Express 4K Plus is a 4K streaming device, at a relatively cheap price. We’re talking $39.99 for this one. It supports up to 4K HDR quality content. With support for HDR, HDR10 and HDR10+. It also supports dual-band WiFi, and uses micro USB for ethernet.

The Roku Express 4K Plus also works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, as well as Cast, and AirPlay 2.

The Roku Voice Remote Pro gives Comcast a run for its money

Everyone is putting voice compatibility into their remotes now, but really only Comcast does a good job with it, until now. With the new Roku Voice Remote Pro, Roku is going to give it a run for its money. Roku Voice Remote Pro has a rechargeable battery, and can be powered for months at a time.

With the Roku Voice Remote Pro, you don’t even need to touch the remote to control your TV. You can just say “Hey Roku” and a command to turn on the TV, change the app you’re in, and much more. It also works for finding the remote, just say “Hey Roku, where’s my remote?” You can also choose to use push to talk, so the remote is not always listening.

Don’t forget the Roku Streambar Pro

Roku is also continuing its push into sound. With the new Roku Streambar Pro, also announced today. It features  2-in-1 4K streaming and cinematic sound, and also includes the Voice Remote. So there are personal shortcuts and the ability for private listening.

The Roku headphones and the new Streambar Pro will cost you $179. And it does come bundled.
