Samsung April 28 2021 event

Samsung has officially announced a new Unpacked event for April 28. The company announced it via its social media channels, including Twitter. It included a rather short teaser video, along with a caption.

Samsung is teasing “the most powerful Galaxy” device(s) for its upcoming event

The company is teasing “the most powerful Galaxy” device, while it doesn’t really give us any indication of what to expect. Well, it’s not difficult to guess what’s coming, though.

The Galaxy Book series laptops have been leaking recently, so that’s almost certainly what’s coming. Those are, technically, the most powerful Galaxy devices, so… it makes sense. It’s not a phone or anything of the sort.

The Galaxy Book Pro, Book Pro 360, and Book Go laptops are coming

That is also something that a tipster, Tech Agent, confirmed via Twitter. He said that Samsung will announce three devices during the event, the Galaxy Book Pro, Galaxy Book Pro 360, and Galaxy Book Go.

Evan Blass actually leaked the Galaxy Book Pro and Book Pro 360 quite recently. The two devices even appeared on a certification website in Korea, on Safety Korea, showing their real-life images.

The Galaxy Book Pro and Book Pro 360 will ship with Windows OS. They will also, allegedly include 11th Gen Intel Core series processors, Nvidia MX450 GPUs, Thunderbolt 4, and LTE support.

At least one of them will support the S Pen

Both devices are said to feature fullHD AMOLED displays, and may be available in 13-inch and 15-inch sizes. These two devices will be different in two ways, S Pen support, and 2-in-1 functionality.

The Galaxy Book Pro 360 will support the S Pen, and also be a convertible laptop with a 360-degree hinge. The other one will not, it seems. Samsung may surprise us and offer S Pen support for the Galaxy Book Pro as well, though, we’ll see.

The Galaxy Book Go will also ship with Windows, though information regarding that device is still quite scarce. Samsung will reveal everything in two weeks, it seems, so stay tuned for that.
