Samsung announced a new smartphone in India about a week ago, the Galaxy F62. Samsung’s new smartphone includes a 7,000mAh battery, and it will no longer be exclusive to India, as it will be coming to more markets.

Smasung’s new 7,000mAh smartphone is coming to more markets with a different name

Samsung Malaysia’s Facebook page and e-commerce website Lazada began testing the Galaxy M62. The Galaxy M62 is almost certainly a global variant of the Galaxy F62. It has the same design, and that same large battery on the inside.

Just to be clear, Samsung did not announce many 7,000mAh smartphones. This is the company’s second one, following the Galaxy M51. Having said that, the Galaxy M62 is coming really soon.

The device will be announced in Malaysia on March 3. Chances are that more markets will follow after that, as the Galaxy M series usually ends up in many more markets. If you need a large battery, and don’t need a flagship-grade phone, this device may interest you.

The Galaxy M62 will almost certainly offer identical specs to the Galaxy F62. That means that we can expect to get a 6.7-inch fullHD+ (2400 x 1080) AMOLED display. In addition to that, the Exynos 9825 will be included to fuel the device.

You’ll find four cameras on the back of this phone, while fast charging will be supported

The phone will also include 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. On its back, you can expect to get four cameras. A 64-megapixel main camera will be backed by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide unit. A 5-megapixel macro camera will also be included, as will a 5-megapixel depth sensor.

A 32-megapixel camera will sit on the phone’s front side. The device will also support 25W fast wired charging to recharge that huge battery. Wireless charging will not be a part of the package.

Dual SIM support is expected, and a fingerprint scanner will sit on the right-hand side of the phone. Those of you who need an audio jack, you’re in luck, as the Galaxy M62 will include it.

Android 11 will come pre-installed on the phone, along with Samsung’s One UI 3.1. The phone will become available in Laser Blue and Laser Gray variants. The Laser Green option, that the Galaxy F62 shipped in, won’t be offered. The device will likely cost around $350.
