OnePlus is confirming its upcoming smartphones left and right. The company shared the OnePlus 9 Pro in “Morning Mist”, and now that very same phone in “Pine Green” has appeared online.
These images come directly from the company as well. OnePlus actually uploaded those photos on its official website, as part of a blog post in which it explains the design of the phone.
The company says that this color has been inspired by nature. OnePlus says that it paid special attention as to how this finish catches the light. All OnePlus 9 Pro variants will have a glass backplate, it seems, but it’s what’s underneath it that is interesting
OnePlus says that the “Pine Green” model uses a double-layered finish, with a matte film underlying a matte-frosted glass. So, this variant will be more suitable for those of you who like matte finishes, as opposed to the glossy “Morning Mist” model.
If you’re worried about fingerprints, the “Pine Green” model is the way to go. Other than the color change, this phone is exactly the same as the “Morning Mist” unit, of course.
You can clearly see its design in the provided renders, including the Hasselblad branding on the camera housing. The phone will feature four cameras on the back, two of which will be quite large. OnePlus already confirmed that the largest two cameras will be 50-megapixel and 48-megapixel units.
The phone’s back will be curved, as will its front side. A curved display will be a part of the picture, though it will be less curved than what the OnePlus 8 Pro offered.
The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, and it will feature a large QHD+ Fluid AMOLED display. That will be a 120Hz LTPO display, so it will offer an adaptive refresh rate.
The phone will include a large battery, and will support 50W fast wireless charging. On top of that, 65W fast wired charging will be included. You can also expect to get plenty of RAM here, and the same goes for storage.
The OnePlus 9 Pro will launch tomorrow, on March 23, alongside the OnePlus 9, and 9R. The 9R model will be reserved for India, though. The OnePlus Watch will also become official. If you’d like to know more about the OnePlus 9 series, click here.
