After announcing the Roborock S7 at CES 2021 in January, the latest robot vacuum is finally available to buy.

And to celebrate the launch, Roborock has knocked $50 off of its regular price. That makes the Roborock S7 just $599, instead of its regular price of $649. Making this robot vacuum even sweeter.

Currently, it is only available in white. But there will be a black model coming later this year. Not to mention the self-emptying dustbin, which will also launch later this year. But that will be sold separately anyways.

Roborock S7 is perfect for mopping up the winter mess

With the Roborock S7, the company really focused on the mopping functionality of the robot vacuum. And that includes two big changes to mopping. The first is Sonic Mopping. Which allows the mopping pad to agitate a lot more, and get up those dried on messes. Including the ability to get up dried on snow and salt, since we are coming out of winter right now.

The other big mopping feature is what Roborock is calling VibraRise. Essentially, it will bring up the mopping pad when it is not on a floor that can be mopped. Like a carpeted room, you wills see the mop lifted so that the carpet isn't mopped. This means that you can set the Roborock S7 to clean up the entire home, without having to remove the mopping pad to keep it from getting carpet wet.

With the S7, you're also getting some impressive carpet cleaning here. Thanks to the 2500Pa suction that's here. It's able to get up all of the dirt and dust off of the floor of your home pretty easily. Roborock also outfitted it with a new rubber brush, instead of using bristles, which will allow it to get tangled a whole lot less. That is definitely important.
