In March, Disney announced that ESPN+ was coming to Hulu, as a hub. Similar to FX on Hulu which launched last year. This allows everyone who is subscribed to the entire Disney bundle, to watch ESPN+ content on Hulu, without needing to use another app.

Now, this ESPN+ hub on Hulu is about to get even sweeter. With the addition of UFC PPVs, starting with UFC 262 this Saturday.

Don’t get your hopes up to much though, you’ll still need to pay for the PPV, which is now priced at $69.99. This basically just gives you another place to watch the PPV instead of just on ESPN+.

Disney says that about 60% of Hulu subscribers are sports fan. Which makes UFC PPVs on the platform and ESPN+ a big draw for them.

ESPN+ is also predicted to pick up NFL Sunday Ticket

Additionally, it is widely predicted that the NFL Sunday Ticket will be heading to ESPN+. Which would be a major grab for ESPN+.

As it stands currently, ESPN+ is mostly a place for games that no other network wanted to air. Then there’s UFC and some boxing. But with the addition of NFL Sunday Ticket, it would make it a much more attractive streaming service.

Considering the NFL is America’s most watched sports league, this is a big deal. But we should find out soon who is getting the streaming rights to the NFL Sunday Ticket.

It’s also worth mentioning that Peacock will be the exclusive streamer of the Summer Olympics this year from Tokyo. These were supposed to happen last year, but the pandemic pushed it back a year. And as of right now, it is still set to happen this summer. But that might change depending on how the pandemic plays out. And it’ll be streaming on Twitch too, to help bring in younger viewers.
