Hold your horses, Xiaomi fans! Because the company via its official Twitter handle has announced a Mega Launch event for March 29 where it might announce the Mi 11 Ultra. This also adds to the excitement that we might see the Mi 11 Lite, and Mi Band 6.
Xiaomi hasn't confirmed the product names that will be launched during the event. But there are strong rumors that Xiaomi could launch Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Lite, a new Notebook, and Mi Band 6 on March 29.
Moreover, the Xiaomi Mega Launch event will be an online-only event. This means that it will be live-streamed on Xiaomi's social media channels and, of course, YouTube.
This mega launch event will go online globally at 19:30 GMT. Besides, Xiaomi is also holding an event on the same day, i.e. March 29 in China.
Rumors have already spilled the beans on the specifications of the Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Lite, and Mi Band 6. The Mi Band 6 will reportedly come with the same design as the Mi Band 5.
However, it will come with a SpO2 sensor, built-in GPS, and Alexa voice assistant support. The Chinese model, on the other hand, will be equipped with the home-grown Xiao AI assistant.
It was recently spotted on the Zepp app with the codename "pangu". Xiaomi Mi Band 6 may also come with 30 activity modes, including new ones such as Zumba, cricket, basketball, and kickboxing.
Talking about the smartphones now, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will be powered by a Snapdragon 888 SoC. It will sport a 6.8-inch WQHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus will protect it from scratches.
The SD 888 SoC will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will house a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W Fast Charging, 67W Fast Wireless Charging, and 10W Reverse Charging.
In the camera department, the Mi 11 Ultra is said to come with a 50MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 48MP periscope telephoto lens. It is also rumored to support 10X optical support.
Coming to the Mi 11 Lite, it will come with Snapdragon 775G SoC. Mi 11 Lite may pack 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage. On the back, the primary camera is said to have a 64MP lens, 8MP ultrawide, and 5MP macro units.
The phone will be juiced by a 4,150 mAh with 33W Fast Charging. Leaks suggest it may sport an FHD+ display resolution with high-refresh-rate.
But information about actual display-size is not known as of now. For that, we will have to wait for a few more days for the launch to know the official details.
