In addition to announcing its big brother, the Mi 11 Ultra today, Xiaomi also announced the Mi 11 Lite. This is the company’s new budget smartphone which does pack a punch.

The phone comes with a glass back, and it does resemble the Xiaomi Mi 11. Even the design of its rear camera module looks like the one from the Mi 11, for the most part. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite features a flat display, with thin bezels, and a display camera hole.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite includes a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate

The phone comes with a 6.55-inch fullHD+ (2400 x 1080) AMOLED DotDisplay. This display delivers a 90Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also supports HDR10 content.

The Snapdragon 732G fuels the 4G variant of this smartphone, while the 5G model includes the Snapdragon 780G. The phone comes with 6GB of RAM. Two storage options are available, 64GB and 128GB variants. Xiaomi included LPDDR4X RAM here, and UFS 2.2 flash storage.

It supports 33W charging, and has three cameras on the back

A 4,250mAh battery is also a part of the package, and the phone supports 33W fast wired charging. The device also comes with LiquidCool technology, and its 33W charger is included in the box.

There are three cameras on the back of this phone. A 64-megapixel main camera (0.7um pixel size, 1.4um 4-in-1 Super Pixel, f/1.79 aperture, 6P lens) is backed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide unit (1.12um pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, 5P lens). A 5-megapixel telemacro camera (1.12um pixel size, 4P lens, f/2.4 aperture) is also included.

A 16-megapixel camera sits on the front side of the phone. The device does come with stereo speakers, and two recording microphones. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also something you’ll find on this phone.

The device comes with Bluetooth 5.1. There are two SIM card slots included in this phone. A side-facing fingerprint scanner is also something you’ll find here.

The device is exceptionally light and thin for its size

The phone is actually extremely light, It weighs only 157 grams, which is a rarity these days, especially at this size. This could be the lightest 6.55-inch smartphone in the market, actually. The phone is also just 6.81mm thick.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite comes in Boba Black, Peach Pink, and Bubblegum Blue color variants. This phone will be available in global markets, it won’t be exclusive to China, just like the Mi 11 Ultra. The model with 64GB of storage is priced at €299, while we still don't know the price for the 128GB storage model. It will go on sale soon.
