The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro launched in three color variants. Well, it seems like OnePlus was considering quite a few additional colors for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, as they do for every flagship. Those color variants just got shared by a tipster.

Tipster shows us OnePlus 9 Pro colors that almost became a reality

Max Jambor is the source of these color variants. He shared a single picture that consists out of four different OnePlus 9 series color variants. Two of them show the OnePlus 9, while the other two show the OnePlus 9 Pro, as you can see down below.

Do note that these are concept images that are based on live images. So, the colors are as accurate as they can be, considering these images don’t come straight from OnePlus.

The color options you can see here are Matte White, Glossy Black, Glossy Silver, and Glossy Green. The first two show the OnePlus 9 Pro, while the latter two show the OnePlus 9.

The OnePlus 9 launched in Winter Mist, Arctic Sky, and Astral Black color options. The OnePlus 9 Pro, on the flip side, arrived in Morning Mist, Forest Green, and Stellar Black colors.

It would have been nice to see all of these additional colors hit the market, but it is what it is. The company cannot really launch the device in too many colors, for obvious reasons. That would hurt their profit, as some colors are always in higher demand than others.

Some of these color options may transfer over to the OnePlus 9T

Perhaps one of these color options will make its way to the OnePlus 9T later this year. That is just a wild guess, as we cannot know what is OnePlus planning. We haven’t heard anything regarding the OnePlus 9T thus far.

The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro did prove to be quite competent devices, though. The camera setups did not really justify all the hype OnePlus created prior to launch, but OnePlus did improve them quite a bit via updates.

The company has released quite a few updates for both the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro thus far, which is always appreciated. We’re sure that the trend will continue moving forward.
