Thursday is here and that means a new crop of games are making their appearance on GeForce NOW, including Narita Boy and more than a few others.
No, it's not an April Fool's joke, Narita Boy is coming to GeForce NOW today. Narita Boy officially launched on March 30. So the game is fresh and only a couple of days old. The game is available on consoles as well as Steam, the latter of which is where GeForce NOW will be accessing the game from.
Narita Boy, which comes from Studio Koba and Team 17, is about a digital hero of the same name who must save the world. With your trusty techno-sword, you can dispatch enemies of the highest order and bring peace back to the digital plane. It's only fitting that Narita Boy launched on GeForce NOW today, as it also launched on Amazon Luna this week.
If you like your retro style pixel art games, Narita Boy is definitely a game you'll want to take with you anywhere you go so you can play at a moment's notice. But it isn't the only game landing on the platform today.
And that shouldn't be surprising as NVIDIA always launches more than one title every single Thursday. In fact Narita Boy is one of 13 games that are now available.
One of those titles, Outriders, is the next big looter shooter, and comes from People Can Fly. It's a good mix of some of the action you'd find in games like Destiny 2, with the camera angle and combat you could expect from a title in the Gears Of War franchise. And there's a reason for that. It's because People Can Fly had a hand in numerous Gears Of War titles. Specifically the ports that came to PC.
In addition to Narita Boy and Outriders, you'll also find that Tales Of The Neon Sea, A-Train PC Classic, Endzone – A World Apart, Forts, Might And Magic X Legacy, Mr. Prepper, Nine Parchments, Re:ZERO – Starting Life In Another World – The Prophecy Of The Throne, Rhythm Doctor, Shadowrun: Hong Kong, and Styx: Master Of Shadows are available to play.
Throughout the month of April NVIDIA has a great lineup of titles being released onto GeForce NOW. 21 in total.
NVIDIA doesn't say which weeks these will be releasing, but it does list them all. Some of the included titles are 41 Hours, Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion, Postal 4: No Regrets, and Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation.
If you're looking for some new games to play through GeForce NOW, you've got plenty to choose from.
