Genshin Impact 1 5 PS5

Genshin Impact is officially coming to PS5 this month along with the version 1.5 update for the game. The new update will be out just before the end of the month, and will be the arrival of the official PS5 version for Genshin Impact.

You can already install the game on your PS5 console. But this is still the PS4 version. Making this upcoming update a special one for those who have a PS5. While the PS5 version of the game won’t be promoting cross-progression with the PC and mobile versions, it will still bring enhanced graphical performance thanks to increased frame rates and resolution.

Details about the update first popped up back at the end of March. But at the time miHoYo wasn’t ready to share the actual release time.

Genshin Impact version 1.5 update comes to PS5 on April 28

PS5 users and those who play on other platforms will get their first taste of Genshin Impact 1.5 on April 28. The new update, titled Beneath The Light Of Jadeite, will introduce new characters Eula and Yanfei. Eula will be a new 5-star and Yanfei will be a new 4-star. So both are likely to be pretty good characters given their high rating. But that doesn’t mean they will be at the front of the pack amongst all the other characters in the 5-star and 4-star tiers.

In addition to new characters, the upcoming update will also introduce new hangout events, a new Trounce Domain boss called Azhdaha, and an enemy boss called Cryo Hypostasis.

In addition to the new content coming with version 1.5, miHoYo has also shared concept art of one of the game’s new locations. Inazuma City, which is heavily inspired by Japan, will be one of a few new locations added to Genshin Impact in the future.

miHoYo hasn’t shared when Inazuma will actually be added. Just that it would be in a future update down the road. Along with Inazuma City, players can also check out concept art of various parts of the region. Including the Mikage Furnace, Narukami Island, Tatarasuna, and Yashiori Island.

All of these locations are likely to play a role in the narrative of Inazuma City. Players should also have plenty of quests to take on that will have them traversing this landscape. Inazuma City will be the third major city and region within the game. Joining Mondstadt and Liyue Harbor.
