It is a common practice of Google to release new wallpapers celebrating important days for its Pixel smartphone lineup. A few days back, Google released three Pixel wallpapers for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month.

Google, in the past, has released a collection of wallpapers for important days such as Black History Month, International Women’s Day, and most recently Earth Day.

Now, with the addition of three new wallpapers for AAPI Heritage Month, Google takes the total of wallpapers to a count of 12. This is following the initial February introduction, March, and April addition.

The newly added wallpapers for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month look brilliant. Those who belong to the community can really celebrate Heritage Month in their own way by putting up the wallpaper.

If you own a Pixel phone, then you can access the “Curated Culture” collection from the wallpaper section of your Pixel device. This can be done by long pressing on the Pixel Launcher and selecting “Styles & wallpapers.”

Talking about the wallpapers, they look great and a piece of work by Jiaqi Wang.

The new AAPI Heritage Month wallpapers are available for Pixel 3 and newer devices

The three new AAPI Heritage Month wallpapers are available for Google Pixel 3 and newer models. Sorry for those who are still using Pixel 2 or lower models.

Moreover, the wallpapers are not optimized for Google Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a, Google Pixel 5G, or Pixel 5’s front-facing hole-punch camera on the top-left corner.

But that shouldn’t be much of a bigger problem. The wallpapers are called Let’s Go to the Top, Fairytale Stories, and Phases of the Moon.

According to 9To5Google, the Let’s Go to the Top wallpaper, lanterns can be seen flying. It highlights the sense that we must help each other up to see it together. The Fairytale Stories signify the stories that grandma told of our culture’s magic animals, beautiful and powerful like us.

Last but not least, the Phases of the Moon wallpaper shows the different phases of the moon. Apparently, these are celebrated in many Asian countries.

Overall, the backgrounds look great and if you are into the customization of the Android home screen setup, then you will definitely like them, as they are colorful.

If you own a Pixel device, then you should have anyhow got these new wallpapers celebrating the AAPI Heritage Month. But for those rocking other devices, can download the high-resolution wallpapers from below.
