One of the new features with the Roborock S7, is the fact that you are able to set the cleaning intensity on a per-room basis. This means that you could set it to max for a room with carpet, and then do a deep cleaning with the mop for the kitchen, and keep the rest of the house on "balanced". Allowing you to really clean up your home, without running out of juice. Since you could clean the house house on deep clean and Max suction, but the S7 may have to go back to the dock for charging before it finishes cleaning your home. So that's important to keep in mind too.

You are able to set both the mopping intensity and the vacuum strength for each room in your home, and it's pretty simple to set up.

How To Set Cleaning Intensity, For Different Rooms With Roborock S7

Firstly, jump into the Roborock app, and tap on the Roborock S7.

Now you'll see the map of your home, as well as a "vacuum only" or "vacuum and mop" option in the lower right-hand corner. This will depend on whether you have the mopping module installed or not. Tap on that.

Here you'll see the different rooms in your home, with different colors. Tap on an area you want to customize.

Now you will be able to change the vacuum power, the scrub intensity and the Mop Route.

Of course, if you choose a room that is carpeted, you'll want to change the scrub intensity to "close" which is the option on the left. And because the Roborock S7 has the new VibraRise feature, it will lift up the mopping pad, so it is not getting your carpet all wet.

Once you're done, just tap on the upper part of the screen and it'll be saved automatically.

Now, you'll see two to three icons for each room, depending on your settings. If mopping is off, you'll only see the vacuum power and scrub intensity icons. If it is on, then the mop route will be added. As you can see in the image below.

You can repeat this for every room in the home. Allowing you to customize your Roborock S7's cleaning to your liking.

When you're completely finished, tap on the check mark that's in the upper right-hand corner. This will save your changes, and give you a confirmation box that the changes where saved.

Finally, you can always choose to reset this. Or stick to one setting for the entire home, if you wish to do so.
