As per a recent development by app researcher Alessandro Paluzzi have found some more details regarding Instagram end-to-end encryption, collab sticker, and redesigned notification status for voice/video calls.

Instagram has been working on these features for quite some time. Now, the latest series of tweets by Paluzzi gives us a more in-depth peek at Instagram end-to-end encryption, collab sticker, and redesigned notification status for voice/video calls.

End-to-end encryption on Direct Messages is something Instagram has been working on for the last couple of months. Since February, when this feature was last spotted, Instagram has made several changes to this feature.

The latest version also brings some new changes. Notably, the latest iteration replaces the “Start end-to-end encrypted chat” button with a toggle.

Further, the Collab sticker, which was first seen back in October last year, seems to be all set to make its way to the stable version of the Instagram app.

According to the tweet shared by Paluzzi, Instagram will splash an introductory screen whenever they decide to introduce Collab sticker to the Instagram app. The introductory screen will provide a brief overview of the functions of the sticker.

Instagram is also working on a redesigned status notification for audio and video calls

The Instagram collab sticker message reads, “Find a topic, add some collaborators and share stories with people who follow it.” Upon release, users will be able to collab with up to 20 other users and create an event.

Last but not the least, Paluzzi also spotted Instagram working on a redesigned status notification for audio and video calls. The latest screenshots shared by Paluzzi reveal that the new status notification appears as a chat bubble.

The chat bubble includes the name of the caller and their display image. Moreover, the chat bubble also has a Call Back button, which will help users call back in case they miss the call notification or want to connect to the user again.

All these features are meant to improve the functionality of Instagram. But as of now, there is no further information about when Instagram plans to make end-to-end encryption, redesigned notifications for video/voice calls, collab stickers features live for all users.

We believe these features will soon see the light of the day, as they have been under works for months now. Instagram might be giving these features a few final touches to make it ready to roll out.

At least the latest information gives us a sneak peek ahead of the launch of these new Instagram features.
