Moto G20 has been subject to all sorts of speculations and leaks for quite some time. While nothing is set in stone yet, specifications and renders of the hotly-anticipated smartphone have once again surfaced online.
Motorola recently made the Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion smartphones available in India. The word on the street is that the American phone maker is gearing up to launch Moto G20 as well.
Previously surfaced reports have divulged a slew of details about the smartphone. Aside from that, specifications and images of the Moto G20 have been revealed in the form of a new leak.
Motorola has been rolling out several phones recently. After announcing a couple of mid-rangers, the company seems all set to announce the Moto G20, an entry-level handset.
This shred of information comes from TechnikNews’ Nils Ahrensmeier. The details revealed by the renowned leaker most coincides with earlier reports.
Ahrensmeier took to his Twitter account on April 21 to share key information about the upcoming phone’s specifications. He followed up this tweet with another set of information including the colors the Moto G20 will be available in.
If the specs revealed in the tweet are anything to go by, the Moto G20 will sport a 6.5-inch IPS HD+ resolution supporting screen. Moreover, it boasts an IP52 rated splash-resistant construction.
Aside from that, the waterdrop notch on the display houses the phone’s 13MP front shooter. The rear-mounted camera setup features a 48MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The G20 runs Android 11 OS and packs the powerful Unisoc T700 chip. Moreover, it comes with 4 GB of RAM and offers a hearty 64GB of native storage capacity.
The leak does not reveal whether the phone will have a microSD card slot but suggests it will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery. Regrettably, the robust battery does not support fast charging.
In addition to that, the fingerprint scanner seems to be missing on the G20. Aside from a 3.5mm audio jack, the phone features a dedicated button to activate Google Assistant.
Details about the phone’s pricing are still few and far between. An earlier leak, cited by GizmoChina suggests the phone could carry a €148.07 price tag in Spain.
The leak also indicates that the phone will be available in two highly appealing color options. You can choose between Rosa Flamingo and Sky Blue. You can check out the gallery below to take a closer look.
