The OnePlus 9 Pro will support 4K video recording at 120 FPS, it seems. This information comes from Techmaniacs, which is a Greek publication. That very same source shared ‘About Phone’ screens for both the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, recently.

The source shared a camera app UI this time around, from the OnePlus 9 Pro. Those screenshots clearly shows the option to record 4K video at 120 FPS frame rate. That’s a huge improvement compared to the OnePlus 8 Pro, actually.

OnePlus 9 Pro camera UI leak 1

The OnePlus 9 Pro may support 4K video recording at 120 FPS, outshining its rivals

The OnePlus 8 Pro is capable of shooting 4K video at 60 FPS, so this basically doubles the frame rate. Let’s hope that the output quality will be on a good level as well, with no artifacting and great stabilization.

If true, this fact will give the OnePlus 9 Pro an advantage over the company’s rivals. Both the Apple iPhone 12 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra can shoot 4K videos at a peak frame rate of 60 FPS.

Now, this leak also says that 8K video capture will be possible on the OnePlus 9 Pro. Do note that the frame rate for such videos probably won’t be high, though. We’re expecting it to be limited to 30 FPS.

Now, an earlier leak, from the same source, revealed that the phone will feature four cameras on the back. The OnePlus 9 Pro will allegedly feature 50, 48, 8, and 2-megapixel cameras on the back.

The phone will support extremely fast wired and wireless charging

A 4,500mAh battery was also mentioned, as was 65W wired charging. The device is also tipped to utilize 45W wireless charging, which means it will offer faster wireless charging than its predecessor.

The OnePlus 9 Pro will be fueled by the Snapdragon 888, and it’ll likely arrive in both 8 GB and 12 GB RAM variants. The phone will feature a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED QHD+ display with an adaptive refresh rate (up to 120Hz).

The device will become official at some point in March, by the way. It will launch alongside the OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9R, and the OnePlus Watch, the company’s very first smartwatch.
