OnePlus has just confirmed more OnePlus 9 Pro specifications. The company tweeted out some of the phone’s specs, some of which have been confirmed earlier. There’s some new info here, though.

OnePlus confirmed more OnePlus 9 Pro specifications via an interesting tweet

The company tweeted out the following: “LPDDR5120FPS120HZ50MPIMX789HB4K”. As you can see, these are some OnePlus 9 series specs, and we’ll assume that all of them apply to the 9 Pro model.

So, let’s make some sense out of this, starting with the confirmed information. The company confirmed earlier that the OnePlus 9 Pro will feature a 48-megapixel Sony IMX789 main camera, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 ultra-wide camera.

The main sensor is covered in this tweet with “IMX789”, while the secondary is covered by the “50MP” mentioned. The “HB” part points to “Hasselblad” cameras that have been confirmed, and the “4K” part points to 4K video recording, probably.

What about the rest, though? Well, the “120 FPS” part probably relates to 120 FPS 4K video recording. OnePlus also mentioned “120Hz” here, which means the device will feature a 120Hz display. That part is new, and it hasn’t been confirmed yet, though we’ve expected it.

The company will utilize the latest RAM available

You’ll also notice that OnePlus mentioned “LPDDR5”, which relates to the phone’s RAM. OnePlus will utilize the latest RAM available, as it did in the OnePlus 8 Pro last year.

This is an interesting way to tease an upcoming smartphone, that’s for sure. The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will have a lot in common, but there will be some differences as well. We do expect some differences in the camera department, while the OnePlus 9 may also have a different display, and it will be different in terms of size.

The phone will have a smaller battery than the ‘Pro’ model, and chances are different wireless charging will also be included. It remains to be seen what will happen with water resistance, though.
