Some of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro specs have been confirmed by Geekbench. Both phones surfaced on the benchmarking tool, which shared some details with the public.

The two devices appeared with ‘LE2115’ and ‘LE2125’ model numbers on Geekbench. Both devices appeared with an SoC codenamed ‘Lahaina’, which signalizes the Snapdragon 888, as expected.

Both the OnePlus 9 & 9 Pro appeared on Geekbench with 12 GB of RAM

12 GB RAM variants of both phones got tested, though we may see 8 GB RAM models up for sale as well. We’ll have to wait and see. Both phones run Android 11, as expected, and OnePlus’ OxygenOS skin will be included on top of it.

Now, when it comes to Geekbench scores. The OnePlus 9 scored 1,120 points in the single-core, and 3,630 points in the multi-core test. The OnePlus 9 Pro, on the other hand, scored 1,123 points in the single-core, and 3,416 in the multi-core test.

That is pretty much all the information that Geekbench shared. Luckily, we do have a lot more detail about the two devices. The OnePlus 9 Pro partial design has been confirmed by OnePlus, while the company confirmed that the upcoming phones will ship with chargers. Some official-looking renders also surfaced.

OnePlus is expected to announce three smartphones on March 23, which is the confirmed launch date. The OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9R are expected to arrive. The OnePlus Watch is also expected to become official.

OnePlus partnered up with Hasselblad

OnePlus entered a partnership with Hasselblad, and the cameras on OnePlus’ handsets should benefit from it. The company already confirmed that the 9 Pro handset will utilize a 48-megapixel main camera, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide unit.

That handset is tipped to offer four cameras on the back. The third and fourth camera will likely be 8-megapixel telephoto (3.3x zoom) and 2-megapixel depth camera units.
