Stadia continues to get more new titles and franchises and this morning Google is announcing yet another one for its platform with Resident Evil.

What is perhaps the most iconic survival horror franchise of all-time is making its way to Stadia in the near future. And best of all, for the fans of the series, is that it's not just one, but two games to look forward to.

Both of course are launching on different dates. So you'll want to clear out some time in your schedule for each if you enjoy games from this series.

Resident Evil Village lands on Stadia May 7

To get things started, Resident Evil's most recent title in the series, Resident Evil Village will be coming to Stadia on May 7. Which is a day and date launch of the game with the other platforms where it will be available.

Google is also running a promotion alongside the launch of this game. If you don't have any of the Stadia-related hardware yet, then the promotion is aimed at you. If you buy Resident Evil Village for Stadia before May 21, then Google will send you a free Stadia Premiere bundle. Which comes with a Stadia controller and a Chromecast Ultra so you can play games on the TV.

There will be two copies of the game you can buy. The Standard Edition which costs $60, and the Deluxe Edition which will cost $70. No doubt there will be some other add-ons you can buy in addition to these two versions of the game as well.

RE 7 Biohazard arrives April 1

No, this isn't an April Fool's joke. Google is also bringing Resident Evil 7 Biohazard to the platform. And you can play it before Resident Evil Village launches globally a month later.

Resident Evil 7 will officially be launching on Stadia on April 1. However you won't have to buy this game. Because Google is making it one of the Pro titles for April. Which means all Pro subscribers end up getting the game for free.

Also worth noting is that this is the Gold Edition, which comes with bonus DLC content, including Banned Footage Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, and two epilogue episodes. Which means loads of content for you to play through before the next game in the series is released.

You can view a trailer for Resident Evil Village on Stadia below. The pre-order page for the game is live on the Stadia store as well.
