Some new information regarding upcoming smartphones from Samsung surfaced. To be more accurate, the timeline for Samsung foldables and Galaxy S21 FE handset appeared, thanks to SamMobile.

Timeline for Samsung foldables & Galaxy S21 FE just appeared

The source claims that Samsung will announce its foldables in Q3 this year, while the Galaxy S21 FE is coming in Q4. That makes sense, and it’s exactly what we were expecting, actually.

When we say Samsung foldables, we mean the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 2. We’re still not sure if the Galaxy Z Flip 2 will carry that name, it’s possible it will be called the Galaxy Z Flip 3. It all depends on which rumor you choose to believe, as Samsung is rumored to streamline its naming, and bring the Galaxy Z Flip on the same naming scheme as the Galaxy Z Fold lineup.

Having said that, the Galaxy S20 FE has been quite a success for the company. That device actually makes the Galaxy S21 FE one of Samsung’s most anticipated phones of the year.

The Galaxy S20 FE managed to offer flagship-level specs, with a considerably lower price tag than its S20 siblings. The Galaxy S21 FE is expected to offer something similar in comparison to the rest of the Galaxy S21 lineup.

Color variants for the company’s foldable smartphones surfaced yesterday

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 2 color variants have been tipped yesterday. It was reported that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will arrive in Black and Green color options. Additional variants are a possibility.

The Galaxy Z Flip 2, on the other hand, is tipped to launch in Light Violet, Green, Black, and Beige color setups. Samsung will use more fancy names for all those color variants, of course.

Based on everything we’ve seen thus far, 2021 will be a year of foldables. Many OEMs will announce their first foldable devices, and Samsung’s will probably be amongst the most compelling ones. Samsung already released quite a few foldable devices, and it learned from its mistakes. The Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold 2 are actually extremely compelling devices.
