Top 10 Best PC Games List

Below you’ll find each game listed above, but with a short description about the game as well as trailers, buy, and download links.

Outriders

  • Price: $59.99
  • Download: Steam

Outriders is one of the latest games to land on PC and other platforms, and it’s already off to a really great start. As another looter shooter, players can expect familiar gameplay mechanics to titles like Destiny 2, Borderlands 3, and The Division just to name a few. But the game also has some entirely unique features that help it stand out.

You have four different classes to choose from, including the Pyromancer which is a medium ranged attack class, sort of like a mage, meant for dps. There’s also the the Technomancer which is along ranged class, which specializes in using artillery and other guns and weaponry to dole out the pain. The Technomancer is also a support class, which means you can heal and protect your allies.

Then there’s the Devastator which is a close range tank class designed to take most of the damage because they have the most sustainability. Lastly there’s the best class of all, the Trickster. Which is a close range melee class that uses space time to essentially delete enemies from the game, and reality itself.

Outriders has a really cool and engaging story along with some really awesome combat, plenty of weapons and other gear to power up your character, and a whole lot more. If you like looter shooters, this one is excellent.

Yakuza Remastered Collection

  • Price: $40.16
  • Buy: Steam

Launched fairly recently on Steam, the Yakuza Remastered Collection includes the remastered version of three of the Yakuza games. This includes Yakuza 3 Remastered, Yakuza 4 Remastered, and Yakuza 5 Remastered.

Featuring newly renewed graphics and the same great gameplay of the original versions. The Yakuza series is a long-running RPG franchise from SEGA, and each game in the series contains some excellent combat as well as the truly zany and wild interactions you might expect from Yakuza games.

If you’ve never played a Yakuza game before, now is a good time to start as you can pick up every single one of them on Steam. Meaning you can work your way through the entire series from past to current.

And it would be well worth it. The Yakuza Remastered Collection is also currently on sale right now on Steam for about $10 off.

Ghostrunner

  • Price: $29.99
  • Buy: Steam

Ghostrunner is just the kind of game you want to play if you want something wickedly fast-paced. As the name implies, you’ll spend a lot of your time in the game running around a dystopian city, slashing your enemies to pieces with your super cool cyberpunk katana.

You, the player, are a futuristic ninja of sorts, attempting to fight against the enemies of this post apocalyptic world, where corporations and other entities hold all the power, and you’re just another person fighting to survive.

There’s a lot of wall running, as well as other acrobatics and a ton of chaotic combat. It’s bloody, action-packed, and loads of fun. Not to mention the game just got its Metal Ox DLC pack for some extra swag, and the game is half off right now for the next 48 hours at the time of writing. As it’s part of Steam’s midweek madness deals.

That means you can pick up for $14.99 until Friday morning, April 16.

Hades

  • Price: $24.99
  • Buy: Steam/Epic Games Store

Hades is the most recent game from Supergiant Games, the acclaimed developers behind Bastion, Transistor, and Pyre.

Unlike those games, Hades is an action rogue-like dungeon crawler. However, it does implement many of the elements that were in all three of those games as well. Making it unique in its own way but also undeniably something from Supergiant games.

You play as Zagreus, the son of Hades, who is trying to escape the underworld and you’ll have to fight your way out. The game is filled with gorgeous visuals like every Supergiant Games title, really cool and challenging combat, and an engaging story that you can easily get into.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice GOTY Edition

  • Price: $59.99
  • Download: Steam

A departure in numerous cases from previous From Software games, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is still a brutally challenging yet highly rewarding action RPG game worth diving into. Even now as the game is nearly two years old.

If you’ve yet to step foot into the game’s vision of 1500s Sengoku era Japan, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Though be forewarned that, unless you’re used to the kinds of games From Software puts out, you will be met with a very difficult first playthrough.

It’ll all be worth it though to set eyes on the world From Software has created. From lowly enemies to massive bosses, every encounter in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice begs for cold, calculating decisions. Lest you do actually die and fall prey to the game’s tougher challenges – respawning from your last checkpoint with less health. And thereby a a harder time getting by a particularly difficult section.

The Game Of The Year Edition adds to the amazing experience by adding new boss challenges modes and other additional content to work through. Once you’ve beaten the game your first time, of course.

Yakuza: Like A Dragon

  • Price: $59.99
  • Buy: Steam

While the Yakuza Remastered Collection is definitely a string of games worth picking up, the most recent game in the series, Yakuza: Like A Dragon, is a game you shouldn’t miss either.

This latest installment follows a different main character throughout the length of the game. As opposed to the series’ familiar and much-loved Kazuma Kiryu. The game doesn’t just swap out the lead character, either.

Combat also takes a different turn and is less action-based than before. But still wildly fun and entertaining as ever. Since this game brings in a new lead character, this is also a good starting point for newcomers to the Yakuza series.

Though if you want to get the full Yakuza feel, you may want to start with one of the earlier games first and get invested in the stories and world that Yakuza has to offer.

DOOM Eternal

  • Price: $59.99
  • Buy: Amazon/Steam

DOOM has been around for a very long time in the gaming world and DOOM Eternal is the latest game in the franchise to hit the market. It was released back in March 2020 but just recently received its latest update which also happens to be the first DLC expansion – The Ancient Gods Part One.

If you’re unfamiliar with DOOM Eternal and the franchise, this is a chaos-filled romp through hell on earth as you slay demons with a vast arsenal of weapons, skills, and a little bit of determination.

Expect plenty of blood, awesome graphics, and a surprisingly good story.

Persona 4 Golden

  • Price: $19.99
  • Buy: Steam

Persona 4 Golden was originally released for the PlayStation Vita back in 2012. But a little earlier this year it was released onto PC for the first time via Steam.

Loved by many who fancy JRPG games, Persona 4 Golden is also considered by a fair amount of Persona fans as the best game in the series. As this is a JRPG, Persona 4 Golden features a rich story with hours upon hours upon hours of gameplay.

Persona games are deeply complex when it comes to the narrative and allow you to do everything from battling the many different types of enemies to building relationships with friends.

It also features mini-games and a very robust roster of playable characters.

League Of Legends

  • Price: Free
  • Download: leagueoflegends.com

League of Legends needs little introduction for most people, but for the uninitiated this is a multiplayer online battle arena game, or MOBA.

While it does feature multiple game modes, the main one is a 5 v 5 match where you and your teammates must drive up one (or all) of three lanes, destroying enemy towers and eventually destroying the enemy nexus within the enemy’s base.

There is a very large roster of characters, many of which have extremely unique abilities and play styles, unlockable skins, and highly competitive gameplay. Not to mention ranked mode, and practice mode for honing your skills.

Final Fantasy XIV: Complete Edition

  • Price: $59.99
  • Buy: Amazon/Square Enix Store

Final Fantasy XIV is in many ways, today’s best MMO game. And the Complete Edition comes with everything, which includes the base game and all three expansions. It’s available on PC, but also available on PS4 and it’s cross-platform play. Your account is also linked if you have the game on both platforms, which means you can swap gameplay between them.

In Final Fantasy XIV you’ll have a long and engaging story to follow through the main scenario quests, as well as side quests, dungeons, raids, PvP battles, and everything under the sun that you can imagine.

Even if you finish the main story content, there are multiple classes (known as jobs) to level up. You can even buy plots of land, build a house, and fill that house with all sorts of decorations. You can also cook food, harvest all manner of ingredients, materials, and more.

There is no shortage of things to fill your time and you will always have something to do. And of course it’s an MMO so there’s loads of other people to play with. if you haven’t played an MMO before, or even if you have but haven’t tried FF XIV, give it a short as it’s definitely one of the best PC games around and it will be for years to come.
