Amazon currently has the Anker PowerCore Slim 10000 battery pack on sale right now for $15.99. Now this is not a huge discount actually. We're looking at about $2 off or around 11% discount on this battery pack. But it's still a discount.

The Anker PowerCore Slim 10000 is a really great battery pack to pick up. It has a 10,000mAh capacity which is pretty nice to have, that's enough to charge your Galaxy S21 twice – but the Galaxy S21 Ultra only a little more than once. And it's still pretty thin, which is pretty important, to be quite honest. As you don't want to carry around a huge battery pack with you all the time.

The only real downside here is that there is no USB-C PD available. There is a USB-C port available, but only to charge the battery pack. It uses two inputs, USB-C and micro USB. Which means that the same USB-A to USB-C cable you use to charge your phone, can be used to charge your battery pack too.

As for charging your phone, it uses USB-A. And yeah that is going to be quite a bit slower than what we're used to in 2021. However, this is going to allow you to use PowerIQ. That is Anker's own proprietary charging tech, that will charge your phone as fast as it can, safely. But don't expect to get anything like 30W out of this one. It'll be closer to about 3A. The same charging speed we had with Quick Charge 3.0, a few years ago.

Yeah, it's slower, but that also means you can get more juice out of this 10,000mAh capacity battery pack. If it charged at 30W or faster, you wouldn't get a full charge out of this one.
