According to a new piece of information that surfaced, the OnePlus 9 Pro will feature faster wireless charging than expected. The OnePlus 9 Pro was rumored to offer 45W wireless charging, but based on the information provided by Pricebaba and Ishan Agarwal, the phone will offer 50W wireless charging.

As a reminder, the OnePlus 8 Pro did offer wireless charging as well, it offered 30W wireless charging. That was the very first OnePlus device that offered wireless charging, and thus far, the only one.

The OnePlus 9 Pro is expected to offer faster wireless charger than rumors indicated

Well, both the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro are rumored to offer it, but the one on the Pro model will be faster, allegedly. The source also pointed out that OnePlus will announce a new wireless charger as well.

That makes sense, as the company is now offering a 30W wireless charging only. This new wireless charger will be a 50W one, so that it’s compatible with the OnePlus 9 Pro.

That charger will likely be compatible with the OnePlus 9 as well, though that phone won’t be able to take full advantage of its speed. We’re only guessing, though.

As far as wired charging goes, both devices are expected to offer 65W speeds. Both phones got certified by the 3C authority in China, which pretty much confirmed 65W charging.

The OnePlus 9 series is coming on March 23

The OnePlus 9 series is coming on March 23, the company has confirmed. The company also announced its partnership with Hasselblad, a well-known Swedish camera company.

OnePlus is expected to announce three smartphones as part of the OnePlus 9 series. The OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and 9R. The OnePlus 9R may be offered in some markets only, as it will be a mid-range phone, essentially, at least based on rumors.
