As you may know, the OnePlus Watch is going on sale tomorrow April 14, 2021. OnePlus has its own OnePlus Health app which lets OnePlus Watch users track steps, calories, sleep, and other data. Now According to Android Police, the OnePlus Health app is rolling out internationally.

The app was originally only available in India and was used on the OnePlus Band. However, the app has gotten a new update and is being rolled out internationally just in time for the OnePlus Watch. India has had support for the OnePlus Band for a while now.

However, the users in India will also see the updated UI for the Health app that is rolling out. The new app will be able to manage your watch faces, your wearable notifications, weather, music, and your goals for calories and steps.

The OnePlus Watch and Band will both have their firmware updates taken care of by the app. In addition, the Band will receive 15 new faces in the new update. From the looks of some of the screenshots, the Health app looks to have some elements in common with Apple Healthy.

OnePlus Health app will be able to sync with Google Health too

This isn’t too big of a surprise. Many manufacturers find inspiration in other manufacturers’ designs. This goes for all manufacturers. However, the app does have a dark mode and it can sync with Google Health. That should make things easier for users who rely on Google’s health app. That way they do not have to use two different apps.

The OnePlus Health app is available for any Android device running Android 6.0 or higher. In addition, both the OnePlus Watch and OnePlus Band can be paired with any phone. That means that you do not have to own an OnePlus device in order to use them.

However, if you are in the market for a new smartphone OnePlus released their new OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro last month. The company also announced the OnePlus Watch at the same event. Now if you already have your device you can try the OnePlus Watch out to see how you like it.

Many were excited for the OnePlus Watch when leaks started to roll out. Rumors were pointing to it running Wear OS, but instead, the company decided to use their own software.

Not everyone is thrilled with the OnePlus Watch. But OnePlus is a good company. This being the company’s first smartwatch it is expected to have a few downfalls.
