Well, it's raining March 2021 security updates for Samsung devices. The latest device to get updated with March 2021 security patch is the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

Samsung is the first smartphone OEM to release the March 2021 security patch for its devices. The update was first released for the Galaxy Note 10 series, and later on, it was grabbed by various other smartphones and tablets.

Now, the update is seeding for the ultra-premium foldable from the Korean OEM, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. Notably, the update is currently live only for the Chinese model of the Galaxy Z Fold 2.

However, we expect Samsung to expand the rollout in other regions in the coming weeks. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 March 2021 security patch arrives with software version F9160ZCS1DUC1.

Note that there is no information on the size of the update. Considering previous security updates, we expect it to be nominal in size as it would be a completely incremental update in nature. Meaning that there will not be any new features attached to it.

Besides, Samsung is doing a fantastic job in rolling out the latest updates. Be it firmware, security patches, or bug fix updates, the mega-brand has always been on top, leaving behind all the other smartphone OEMs.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 March 2021 security patch includes fixes for 19 vulnerabilities

Talking about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 March 2021 security patch, it includes several bug fixes and improves the stability of the smartphone.

Moreover, according to Sammobile, apart from Google's own fixes, this new March 2021 security update fixes over 19 vulnerabilities for Galaxy smartphones.

Unfortunately, we do not have our hands on the official changelog of this latest update. Being an incremental security update, it just touches up some issues related to security.

Similar to other updates, Samsung has pushed the Z Fold 2 March 2021 security patch via OTA in batches. This means the update will not be available for everyone exactly at the same moment and will appear gradually.

If you own a Galaxy Z Fold 2 device and live in China, then you should receive an update notification on your smartphone. In case you did not receive the notification, you can also manually check for the update.

For that, head over to "Settings". Further, you need to go to "System updates", and lastly tap the "Download and install" option. The updater will check for the update and will begin the downloading and installation of the update if a new update is available.
