OnePlus’ CEO, Pete Lau, has just revealed the “Morning Mist” OnePlus 9 Pro. That is a name that this company chose for the silver variant of the OnePlus 9 Pro, basically.

Pete Lau shared four images of the device, giving us a good look at it. In his tweet, he said “the more you see its beauty is in how it reflects the world around you”. That leads us to believe this phone comes with reflective glass on its back and one of the images more or less confirms it.

The OnePlus 9 Pro "Morning Mist" will launch with a glossy finish

This will be a glossy smartphone, which is not something that people love all that much. It remains to be seen how well will it fight against pesky fingerprint smudges. Chances are it won’t be able to deter them, though, as that’s usually the case with glossy phones.

You can clearly see that the phone has four cameras on the back. Two of those four camera sensors are quite large, and those have been confirmed by OnePlus already. The main one is a 48-megapixel unit, a custom sensor by Sony. The second sensor is a 50-megapixel ultra-wide one, also provided by Sony.

The entire camera housing does protrude on the back, while the company’s logo is visible on the phone’s back. Hasselblad branding is visible on the camera housing, while the phone’s back is curved towards the sides.

You can clearly see that the device will feature a display camera hole in the top-left corner. Another tidbit one of these images reveals is a curved display, the ‘Pro’ model will sport it.

The OnePlus 9 series is coming on March 23

The OnePlus 9 Pro will become official on March 23. OnePlus confirmed that day as the official launch day for the OnePlus 9 series devices. Alongside the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, the OnePlus 9R may arrive, and the OnePlus Watch as well.

OnePlus still didn’t tease the OnePlus 9R, so it may not launch at all, or it may launch in some markets only. We’ll have to wait and see. While we’re waiting, feel free to check out our OnePlus 9 series preview.
